Thursday Live Guitar Performance
7 - 9 PM
Adien Fazmail is an Indonesian guitarist and instructor, known for his work with the bands Albattar, Echotones, and more recently, Agam Hamzah Acoustic Connection (Duo). He began playing the guitar at 14, drawing inspiration from major musical influences such as Brian May of Queen, Ritchie Blackmore of Deep Purple, Flamenco guitarist Paco de Lucia, Miles Davis, and Heavy Metal band Pantera, among many others.
Adien studied Musicology at the Jakarta Institute of the Arts and took private lessons with Indonesian guitar legend Donny Suhendra. He has explored both acoustic and electric guitar in the genres of pop, rock, and jazz.
He has performed regularly on TV talk shows, worked as a session player, and participated in music festivals across Indonesia and the region. Additionally, he has composed songs and collaborated on an EP album.
Active at the community level with the Indonesian Guitar Community, Adien has established himself as a guitar instructor since 2007, teaching at institutions such as Music Temple, Jakarta International School, and the Music School of Indonesia.
Since 2010, Adien has been deeply interested in Flamenco. He has been learning, performing, and participating in workshops with Ángela López since 2014. His career has since focused on Flamenco guitar, jazz music, and Indonesian traditional music.
Friday Live Saxophone Performance

Jakub Skowroński is a talented saxophonist from Poznań. His passion for music began as a child – he started playing the piano at the age of 5, and then switched to the clarinet at the age of 11. Kuba comes from a well known Poznań family with musical traditions. Despite his initial interest in classical music, he quickly discovered a fascination with jazz and improvisation.
After studying in Poland and Germany, Kuba started working with outstanding jazz musicians, learning the art of jazz and improvisation at the Academy of Music in Katowice and at the Jazz Institute Berlin. His musical inspirations include such greats as John Coltrane, Stan Getz, Charlie Parker, Herbie Hancock and Michael Brecker, to name a few.
During his career, Kuba won many prestigious awards, including: Era Jazzu Award, Blue Note Poznan Jazz Competition 2014 and 2015, RCK Pro Jazz 2015, Jazz nad Odrą 2011, Tarnów jazz Contest 2012, Novum Jazz Festival 2010, Jazz Juniors 2013, Enter Music Festival 2012 or European Jazz Contest in Rome 2012. Over the years he has performed on 3 different continents in countries such as: New Zealand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, Germany, Austria, Chech Republic, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Lithuania, France, Ukraine, Poland. He is also a valued studio musician who has appeared on at least twenty albums.
Since 2018, the artist from Greater Poland, Kuba Skowroński, has been living in Bali, Indonesia, where he actively participates in the local music scene and performs at prestigious festivals throughout Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand or Phillipines. He is known for his versatile playing style and ability to cooperate with musicians from different cultures and nationalities. He was there for the first time in March 2017, after performing at the Java Jazz festival with Michał Martyniuk’s Polish-New Zealand quartet. Kuba Skowroński currently lives in the most urbanized and populated southern part of the island. In addition, he regularly conducts workshops and lectures, sharing his knowledge and experience with young musicians. He actively promotes Polish Culture in Indonesia, cooperating with, among others, Polish organizations such as: Polish Buissness Club in Jakarta or Diplomatic Missions such as the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Jakarta. His latest project, “Hypnagogia”, recorded with the participation of outstanding Indonesian musicians and Polish drummer Adam Zagórski, gained recognition both in Poland and abroad. Kuba continues his musical journey, regularly performing at concerts around the world and developing as a jazz artist.
